Stunningly beautiful. The stuff of fantasies and fairy
tales. These are all valid descriptions of the magical
White Tiger. There is no doubt that these impressive
creatures with ice-blue eyes, a pink nose and creamy
white fur covered in chocolate stripes arrest the
attention of countless admirers.
One of the reasons that white cubs are rare in the
wild is that the colour places them at a
disadvantage. Because they lack normal camouflage,
which offers cubs some protection against predators,
they rarely survive to adulthood.
